How to request deletion of your personal data

Your Right to Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from our diabetes nutrition analysis service. This includes all information we have collected about you, including your account, analysis history, uploaded images, and any other personal data stored in our systems.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove the following information:

  • Account Information: Your email address, profile information, and authentication details
  • Analysis History: All food analysis results, nutritional data, and diabetes recommendations
  • Uploaded Images: All food photos you've uploaded for analysis
  • Usage Data: Your interaction history, preferences, and settings
  • Third-party Data: Information received from Google or Facebook authentication
  • Analytics Data: Any personal data collected for analytics purposes
How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: Email Request

Send an email to our data protection team with the following information:

Please include:
• Your full name
• Email address associated with your account
• Reason for deletion (optional)
• Confirmation that you want all your data permanently deleted

Method 2: Account Settings

If you have an active account, you can also request deletion through your profile settings:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Go to your Profile page
  3. Click on "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your deletion request
Processing Time

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. Here's what happens during this process:

  • Immediate Response: We'll send you a confirmation email within 48 hours
  • Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity and request
  • Data Removal: We'll permanently delete your data from all our systems
  • Third-party Services: We'll request deletion from our service providers
  • Confirmation: You'll receive a final confirmation when deletion is complete
What Happens After Deletion

Immediate Effects

  • Your account will be permanently deactivated
  • You will lose access to all your analysis history
  • All uploaded images will be permanently removed
  • You will no longer receive any communications from us

Data Recovery

Important: Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you change your mind after deletion, you would need to create a new account and start fresh with our service.

Legal Requirements

We may retain certain information if required by law, such as:

  • Records for tax or accounting purposes
  • Information required for legal proceedings
  • Data needed to prevent fraud or abuse
